I crave data even more when it’s hard to sleep. I was looking at high school enrollment comparisons from 2024 to 2025, and you can see the Northern Lakes Conference (NLC) school enrollments will be affected by the smaller classroom sizes among grades 9 through 12(recession babies, a consequence of lower area childbirths between 2008 and 2013).

Warsaw Post Office Failing! 2z3x5j

Editor, Times-Union: I live on a rural route and typically for several months, I will not receive mail one day per week. Starting last Saturday, I received no mail but it was delivered late Sunday afternoon. This week, no received on Monday or Tuesday. I went to the Post Office and was able to get it. I was told my Wednesday mail was out for delivery. Not sure where it was delivered because I again did not receive mail on Wednesday or Thursday. I need to make another trip to town to retrieve mail. Multiple people were at the Post Office for the same reason. We were told that three routes have been added. Apparently, these routes have no carriers?

Editor, Times-Union: The VFW Auxiliary Post 1126 of Warsaw would like to thank Rural King and Runnings.

National Day Of Action 2w6n5t

Editor, Times-Union: Eighty-one years ago on June 6, a fight for the Free World was waged and won on the beaches of Normandy. The mission was to defeat Hitler, the Nazis and fascist rule in Europe. This year we again honor those troops for their bravery, their determination, and their sacrifices. This year D-Day is “on our own shores,” and now we must fight for the veterans who fought so bravely for us.

Editor, Times-Union: In previous letters to the editor, I wrote about possible candidates for the 51st state in the Union. Those candidates were divided into three categories: current U.S. territories, Article IV Section 3 state (one that could split off from a current state) and potential new territories. An Article IV Section 3 state is highly unlikely and has not been done since the creation of West Virginia.

Republican Failures 3w2h1b

Editor, Times-Union: With Republicans in control of all branches of government in Washington and Indianapolis, Hoosiers are beginning to understand what it means for their lives, and it's not the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow we were promised. There's hardly a person who hasn't felt the negative impact of what Republicans have wrought.
